Emotional metaphor,as an important part of metaphor,is a difficult point in English-Chinese translation.Emotional metaphor has both cognitive universality and particularity in English and Chinese.Therefore,we should adopt the method of cognitive equivalence while translating the emotional metaphors in English and Chinese to avoid losing their truthfulness.
