This overview has briefly summarized such kinds of research achievements—that the seminar for young editorial board members of Journal of Changsha University of Science & Technology(Social Science Edition) focuses on—as issues of the new form to both Chinese modern civilization and human civilization, of academics mission and Chinese scholars' undertaking in the era, of answering properly "the questions of China, the world, the people, and the era", and of the new development of Marxist theory discipline in the new era. And the seminar also emphases on "what academics can do?" and "how scholars can express themselves?", so as to provide reference for further answering the "question of the times" of how human civilization should conduct itself and the "question of academics" of how scholars should intervene in the times' revolution.
